Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announces home video release of DC Super Girls and Peanuts…

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has brought together two of the world’s most recognizable brands in DC and LEGO for their first combined DC Super Hero Girls production.

It will release the home video of the all-new animated film Lego DC Super Hero Girls: Brain Drain on Digital HD (July 25) and on August 8 (DVD).

 “Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is excited to unite two extremely popular brands — LEGO and DC Entertainment — to present the first ever LEGO DC Super Hero Girls film,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing.

“Animated feature-length movies featuring DC Super Hero Girls and LEGO are extremely popular amongst our fans, so we look forward to bringing this first collaboration to life,” she added.

The DC Super Hero Girls franchise aims to empower and connect with young girls through the brand’s vast digital content networks across LEGO.com, DCSuperHeroGirls.com, YouTube and social media.

Another release coming from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will be of Peanuts by Schulz: School Days that would be available on DVD on August 29. This release would include 19 entertaining shorts based on the legendary print comic strip created by Charles Schulz.

“This new collection of Peanuts short cartoons revolves around the classic school theme and will appeal to viewers of all ages,” said Thomas. “This beautiful new series is a celebration of Charles Schulz’s beloved original comic strip. It’s comprised of animated vignettes derived directly from his newspaper strips. We are delighted to offer this entertaining new release to consumers,” she concluded.
