Waoh! LEGO characters narrate Turkish Airlines’ new safety video

Turkey’s national flag carrier Turkish Airlines has collaborated with Warner Bros and the LEGO Movie franchise to release a new flight safety video in which safety rules are narrated by LEGO movie characters.

“In partnership with Warner Bros. and featuring the popular characters from The LEGO Movie franchise, the safety video will be shown on all flights starting today and will also debut online,” the company said in a written statement.

The safety video is the first LEGO safety video ever made and demonstrates step-by-step safety procedures to passengers in a fun, unique style.

In the feature video, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Arnett return to their roles from the movie as Emmet Brickowski, Wyldstyle, and LEGO Batman, respectively. Additionally, there are other characters who are returning as well such as Princess Unikitty, Benny the astronaut, and Metalbeard the pirate.

Its new in-flight video features every detail of insides of the Lego plane and characters.

“Turkish Airlines is proud to have one of the youngest fleets in the world and strives to achieve the best in aviation safety standards,” the airline further added.

“The safety video will kick off the ‘biggest partnership with the smallest cast ever assembled’, hinting there is much more to come from the Turkish Airlines and LEGO Movie franchise alliance.”

Turkish Airlines will roll-out a global TV campaign, film-themed planes, and launch inflight and in-airport gigs, and even a second safety video ahead of the release of the movie.

The airline noted that 30 different versions of the new safety video were created, both in English and Turkish, to cover the safety particulars of the 15 different airplane models in the Turkish Airlines fleet.

“We are both brands that are enjoyed around the world, bringing together generations and cultures everywhere. We hope that our passengers can enjoy this new video, which has something for everyone,” said Ilker Ayci, the airline’s chairman.

Turkish Airlines, founded in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, currently has 325 aircraft, including passenger and cargo planes, and flies to more than 300 destinations in 121 countries.

The second installment of the LEGO movie is scheduled to open in theaters on February 8, 2019.
