Bloomsbury announces global publishing programme with Technicolor for ‘The Deep’

Bloomsbury announced a publishing partnership with Technicolor to create a series of books based on the hugely popular animated show ‘The Deep’ on March 21. In a deal brokered by licensing agent CPLG, a DHX Media company, Bloomsbury will produce a range of books for the animated show, including young fiction, official handbooks and activity-based books. Technicolor names Simba Toys as master toy licensee

Paris-based Technicolor has named Simba Toys as master toy licensee for its animated co-production The Deep.  The deal will see Simba Toys launch an initial range of figures, play sets and role-play toys and accessories. Targeting kids from ages six to nine, initial products will roll out in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and Nordic countries in Q3 2018. The line will later expand into additional categories including outdoor, die-cast and radio-controlled vehicles and wheeled toys.
