Brands spent 482 crores on athlete ambassadors finds ESP Sports Report 2019

As per the report, overall sports sponsorship saw a growth of 12% in 2018 and sports advertising grew to Rs. 7762 crore. 2018 saw a 22% growth in Athlete Brand Endorsement Value, the report said. Virat Kohli signs Rs. 100-crore licensing deal with sports lifestyle brand Puma
