Global licensing industry increases to $271.6 Billion in 2017: Report

The retail and related revenue generated globally by the trademark licensing business increased to USD 271.6 Billion in 2017, according to the Annual Global Licensing Industry Survey by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA). According to the report, the licensing industry increased by 3.3 per cent as compared to previous year to USD 262.7 Billion. The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association has appointed Maura Regan to serve as the organization’s president, beginning July 1.
