Magic Light Pictures appoints Brand and Deliver to look out for new licensees in the UK

Magic Light Pictures, owners of the popular The Gruffalo brand, has appointed Brand and Deliver to look out for new UK brand partnerships.

Brand and Deliver has been tasked with using its data-driven approach to source and activate commercial partners across its brand portfolio.

Accordingly, it will look to bring a new range of fans to the brand along with driving awareness and revenue along with helping stoke children’s imaginations up and down the country.

Ros Carmoody, partnerships director at Brand and Deliver, said, “We are really excited to develop partnerships with magic Light Pictures’ beloved portfolio of characters. Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s picture books help foster creativity in children and we are looking to create partnerships that stay true to this ideal.”

Aidan Tayloer-Gooby, licensing manager at Magic Light Pictures, added, “We want to bring IPS to a wider audience by partnering with leading brands that share our passion for creativity, especially in the run up to 2019 when we are celebrating 20 years of The Gruffalo.”

The company has been employed by a number of leading technology and entertainment companies to handle promotional partnerships, B2C and B2B event activation, branding and product marketing.

Magic Light Pictures is a BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated creator of family entertainment and brands, managing production, distribution, licensing and marketing from its London headquarters.

It works with The Gruffalo creators Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler to manage its portfolio of children’s brands, which also includes The Gruffalo’s Child, Zog, Room on the Broom, Stick Man and The Highway Rat.
