The bi-annual fashion trade show Magic hosted a seminar on lifestyle licensing in the MBCC Buyer’s Suite on The Collective show floor at Las Vegas yesterday.
The seminar, titled “Lifestyle Licensing,” examined how tokidoki has built its product assortment by way of strategic licensing deals.
Panelists for the seminar included Pooneh Mohajer, co-founder and chief executive officer, tokidoki and Simone Legno, co-founder and chief creative officer, tokidoki.
Additionally, a second licensing seminar titled Brand Management and Licensing will take place on 15 August in the MBCC Buyer’s Suite on The Collective show floor.
It will provide examples of how to extend fashion and lifestyle brands through licensing.
The seminar also discussed the brand strategy behind Marquee Brands’ Ben Sherman, Bruno Magli, Body Glove and BCBG Max Azria.
Panelists for the seminar included Michael DeVirgilio, president, Marquee Brands while Cory Baker, chief operating officer, Marquee Brands. Ekstract moderated the seminar.
