After designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, ace designer Manish Malhotra forayed into the world of cosmetics after conquering the fashion segment. The designer has collaborated with premium European make-up brand MyGlamm to launch a new collection.
The collection is called ‘Manish Malhotra Haute Couture Makeup’.
With celebrity fitness trainer Deanne Panday’s daughter Alanna as Malhotra’s muse, the collection is for every woman who wants to feel ‘unapologetically glamorous’, according to a statement.
“If you look good, you feel good, so beauty is a huge confidence builder. My design philosophy has always been about celebrating glamour. This Haute Couture line is accessible to every woman out there, and makes it easy to get gorgeous in no time,” said Malhotra.
The eyeshadow palettes cover all finishes from matte to metallics, with a spectacular glitter-burst at its core. The shiny lip glosses are infused with super reflecting pearls, while the lipsticks have a creamy, pigmented payoff that covers all shades of scarlet. The 18-shade nail lacquer shade palette covers everything from cobalt chrome and metallic tangerine to glitter-specked white and a holographic gold. And all of this comes dressed in minimal, chic packaging of black and rose gold.

Malaika Mahtaney, Chief Marketing Officer, MyGlamm, said they are excited to bring to life Malhotra’s vision of beauty to his many fans across the country starting December 15.
Recently, Sabyasachi had also forayed into the world of cosmetics with beauty giant L’Oreal Paris for the 21-piece collection. The products include lipsticks, mascara and eyeliner, and the prices range between Rs 600 – 1500.
